The Austrian Question of Neutrality
Part 3 of the event trilogy "Zeitenwende Europa"

On 31 May 2023, the last event of the trilogy "Zeitenwende" took place. After the first two events dealt with the changing neutrality in various European countries and the European security architecture, the third part was dedicated to the "Options of Austrian Security Policy" focusing on the topic of neutrality.
On the panel, Robert Treichler (Head of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Profil), Peter Vorhofer (Head of the Defence Policy and International Relations Directorate at the Federal Ministry of Defence), Ralph Janik (University Lecturer specialising in International Law, Human Rights and International Trade Law, University of Vienna) and Franz Stefan Gady (Policy Advisor and Analyst at the Institute for International Strategic Studies in London) discussed the questions posed by moderator Walter Feichtinger. Afterwards, the audience was invited to ask questions.
The event was organised by the Austria Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (DA) and the Center for Strategic Analysis (CSA).
