On May 24, 2024, the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) hosted a lecture by Prof. Dr. Brantley Womack, Senior Fellow at the Miller Center and Professor Emeritus of Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia.
Prof. Dr. Womack spoke about the challenges in a new, multipolar world structure and the danger of self-isolation of individual national states. He also emphasized the importance of the Indo-Pacific region and the need to pay greater attention to it.
