On 20 June 2023, the Austria Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) organised an event at the Diplomatic Academy Vienna (DA) on the occasion of the launched counter-offensive of Ukraine. Albin Rentenberger (Principal Lecturer, Institute for Higher Military Leadership/LVAk) presented an overview of the militarily relevant aspects explaining the context of the counter-offensive. A political perspective on the topic was provided by Thomas Mayr-Harting (Former Executive Director, European External Action Service (EEAS)). After the experts' contributions, which were moderated by Werner Fasslabend (AIES), the audience was invited to ask questions.
