AIES Event In Vienna

On the 30th of March, 2022, AIES President Werner Fasslabend discussed the situation in Ukraine with six distinguished guest speakers. First, Christian Wehrschütz shared his experience on the current situation on the front, as he spoke from Ukraine. Afterwards, experts Cristian Diaconescu, Mikulás Dzurinda, Vadim Pistrinciuc, Martin Sajdik and Péter Sztáray all gave their insights on the consequences of the war, especially in regards to their own country. As such, the event gave a necessary overview of the Ukrainian conflict, in addition to shedding light on Eastern and Central European perspectives.
