AIES Research Fellow Livia Benko had the honour to moderate the 3SI event on the 19th of June at the Romanian Embassy in Vienna. The Romanian Embassy organized a panel debate on the topic of the Three Seas Initiative before the upcoming Bucharest Summit 2023. The discussion focused on the importance of the 3SI format, of raising awareness of the Initiative in Austria and amongst the other Member States. It was concluded that the format is an ambitious platform that became even more relevant in the light of the violent geopolitical situation.
The 3SI supports the resilience, interconnectivity, and economy of the region. The Bucharest Summit could bring concrete results that could benefit the 3SI Member States.
