ASEAN Expert Workshop

Indonesian Foreign Policy with focus on ASEAN and the role of the Indo-Pacific

On 11 July, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vienna the AIES hosted an expert workshop titled “The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Centrality of the Indo-Pacific in Indonesia’s Foreign Policy“. Head of Foreign Policy Strategy Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana and AIES Board Member and Senior Advisor Dr. Alfred Gerstl presented central topics and recent issues concerning the Indo-Pacific region.

Further questions were discussed at a subsequent lunch, for the provision of which the AIES expresses its sincere thanks to the Indonesian Embassy.
