On October 14, 2024, the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES), in cooperation with the Donau University Krems and the National Defense Acadamy Vienna, hosted an event titled "A New Wave of Terrorism Against the West?" on the premises of the National Defense Academy Vienna.
The discussion featured Dr. Colin P. Clarke, Research Director at the Soufan Center, and Dr. Nicolas Stockhammer from the Donau University Krems, who explored emerging terrorism threats and their implications for Western security. The event was opened by GenLt Mag. Erich Csitkovits and introduced by Dr. Werner Fasslabend, President of AIES. It was hosted by Obst. Mag. Ernst M. Felberbauer.
