Exchange with South Korean experts

On October 20, 2023, a background discussion between the Austria Institute for European and Security Policy and the Institute for National Security Strategy (INSS) from South Korea took place. The successful exchange between the two institutes focused on the security dynamics of the Indo-Pacific region and in particular the role of the Republic of Korea in it. In addition, the Austrian-South Korean relations were discussed and the South Korean delegation gave interesting insights into the current situation in North Korea and related challenges.
