On November 12, 2021 AIES President Werner Fasslabend welcomed the United Nations High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina and former Federal Minister Christian Schmidt online at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna.
Discussed were the various challenges of the Western Balkans, particularly those of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, the importance of the transatlantic relations for the whole region was emphasized and possible developments were discussed.
