On 21st November 2022 AIES Director Velina Tchakarova welcomed a delegation of Ukrainian think tank representatives for a discussion on current economic, political and social situation in Ukraine. Zoriana Mishchuk, Dmytro Tuzhanskyi, Yuriy Vdovenko, Hennadiy Maksak and Dietmar Pichler participated as speakers. The discussion focused on the fight for war's narrative, Russian strikes against the country's energy infrastructure, the need for continued humanitarian and military assistance, and the future reconstruction of Ukraine. The event was organized in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Vienna, the International Renaissance Foundation and Ukrainian Prism.
