AIES Research Fellow Nick Nieschalke was a guest at the ETNC Spring Conference

AIES Research Fellow Nick Nieschalke, attended the spring conference of the European Think-tank Network on China (ETNC) which took place in Vilnius on 11 and 12 April.

The biannual ETNC conferences are a platform for keeping track of respective countries’ bilateral China relations as well as sharing and discussing current EU-China affairs between participating institutions from across Europe.

The Vilnius meeting had a particular focus on China’s role in the Baltics and its neighbourhood.

The AIES has been an active ETNC member since 2019 and has contributed to various ETNC reports highlighting the Austrian perspective:
