The AIES at the ETNC conference in Stockholm

AIES Director Michael Zinkanell, together with AIES Research Associates Lucas Erlbacher and Nick Nieschalke, attended the autumn conference of the European Think-tank Network on China (ETNC) which took place in Stockholm on 16 and 17 October.

With participating institutions from across Europe, the biannual ETNC conferences are a platform for sharing and discussing current EU-China affairs and keeping track of respective countries’ bilateral China relations.

The Stockholm meeting had a particular focus on Cross-Strait relations, and drawing from his recent visit to Taiwan, Michael Zinkanell shared some firsthand impressions and insights with the other attendees.
