AIES Director Michael Zinkanell at the CBC in Toulouse

At the end of November 2025, AIES Director Michael Zinkanell took part in the CBC – Cybersecurity Business Convention in Toulouse. In addition to exciting discussions on European digital sovereignty and strategic autonomy, he spoke at a panel discussion on ‘Can European Digital Sovereignty be enforced?’ together with Josef Schroefl, Joanna Świątkowska and Oliver Väärtnõu, where they discussed both the current challenges facing Europe and possible ways to reduce strategic dependencies and expand European expertise in the cyber and digital sectors.
