On 15 May 2024, the Austria Institute for European and Security Policy organised the China Hub Austria for the second time. In two discussion rounds with members of the China Hub and additional invited guests, the topic of de-risking was discussed in the context of EU-China relations. The specific challenges for cooperation in research and science were also discussed.

The aim of the China Hub Austria is the flexible exchange on China-related topics and the pooling of this expertise in Austria, whereby experts from the Austrian research and think tank sector were invited to the first meeting.
