Taking stock of hybrid threats relevant to security and defense policy
Expert workshop with the Federal Ministry of Defense

On 27 May 2024, the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) organized a workshop called "Taking stock of hybrid threats relevant to Security and Defense Policy".
The participants shared their knowledge and experience of hybrid threats and their potential impact on the Austrian and European security structure.
The aim of the workshop was to work with the participants to develop initial ideas for a whole-of-government approach and to identify indicators for hybrid threats in order to counter them effectively.
