On April 27, 2022, AIES President Dr. Werner Fasslabend welcomed Herbert Saurugg, President of the Society for Crisis Preparedness and expert in preparing for the failure of vital infrastructure. During the meeting, Dr. Fasslabend and Mr. Saurugg discussed the probability of occurrence, consequences and precautionary measures of a potential total failure of the Austrian power grid.
