Exchange with the Bangladesh Defence Services Command and Staff College

On 19 September 2023, a delegation from the Bangladesh Defence Services Command and Staff College visited the Austria Institute for Europe and Security Policy (AIES). During the visit, the delegation representatives and the AIES expert team exchanged views on current security challenges in the Indo-Pacific and in Europe. The focus of the discussion was on the war against Ukraine, the civil war in Myanmar, as well as geopolitical issues in South Asia, especially with regard to the Sino-Indian rivalry.
