ETNC Meeting in Tallinn

AIES Research Fellow Nick Nieschalke, attended the spring conference of the European Think-tank Network on China (ETNC) which took place in Tallinn on 23 and 24 April. The biannual ETNC conferences are a platform for keeping track of respective countries’ bilateral China relations as well as sharing and discussing current EU-China affairs between participating institutions from across Europe. The Tallinn meeting had a particular focus on Sino-Russian relations and discussions particularly highlighted Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) perspectives. The AIES has been an active ETNC member since 2019 and has contributed to various ETNC reports highlighting the Austrian perspective
