AIES President Werner Fasslabend, former Minister of Defense of Austria, recently participated in the 4th INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR LEADERSHIP AND SECURITY (IWLS). The workshop, held from 26 February to 2 March 2024 at the Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA), National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad, Pakistan, aimed to foster a shared understanding and perspective on the evolving regional and global strategic environment, with a particular focus on Pakistan's role and position within this landscape.
During his attendance, Fasslabend engaged in insightful discussions and exchanged views with notable figures, including Jalil Abbas Jilani, Pakistan's Foreign Minister (see picture). The event served as a valuable platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration among international leaders, enhancing mutual understanding, and addressing pressing security challenges. Fasslabend's presence at the workshop underscores the commitment to promoting peace, security, and cooperation on a global scale.
