AIES Keynote at the EU Working Group on Disinformation
AIES Director Michael Zinkanell held a presentation at the National Defence Academy

Michael Zinkanell, Director of AIES, delivered the keynote presentation during the meeting of the EU Working Group Rapid Alert System (RAS) on countering disinformation, held in Vienna. In his presentation, Michael Zinkanell addressed the need for improved and holistic detection of FIMI in order to develop targeted countermeasures based on analytical findings.
The high-level meeting was organised by the National Defence Academy in cooperation with the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, and the European External Action Service. The event was attended by representatives from 24 EU Member States, the European Parliament, the European External Action Service, and various national ministries.
