Since the attempted storming of parliament in Skopje on April 27, 2017, the country has undergone a strong political transformation, the peak of which is the settlement of the decades-long name dispute with Greece. Since the beginning of February 2019, the official name of the country has now changed to North Macedonia and the Protocol of Accession to NATO has already been signed. Skopje also hopes to start EU accession talks soon. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Republic of North Macedonia, Radmila Shekerinska, is one of the key figures in the North Macedonian re-formation. As part of her official visit to the Austrian Minister of Defence, Mario Kunasek, she will present how the country made these changes over the last two years and how it is to proceed. She will also talk about the regional situation with all its aspects.
