Bernhard Seyringer is a policy analyst specialising in strategic foresight and has been working at the Austria Institute for European and Security Policy since autumn 2023. His focus is on the thematic area of "Emerging Technologies and International Policy". Bernhard is also co-editor for "Emerging Technologies & Security Policy" at The Defence Horizon Journal and a sought-after keynote speaker on Chinese foreign, security and technology policy. From 2020 to 2023, he has written regularly on this topic for the Wiener Zeitung. In addition, for FORBES and Austria Innovativ. He studied social sciences at the Universities of London, Oslo, Urbino and Vienna.
