Paul Pinter joined the AIES as a research intern in January 2025.

He is currently doing a B.A. degree in Political Science at the University of Vienna, with a focus on international relations. Also, Paul is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Business and Economics program at WU Wien, where he specializes in economics.

His research interest lies in Austria’s and Europe’s foreign and defense policies and their connection to democratic resilience. As part of this, he is actively engaged in the student union, and he has worked for the Ministry of Labor and Economics as well as the City of Vienna.
