Rania joined the AIES as a research intern in September 2024.

She holds a B.A. degree in Law from University Paris 12 and is currently completing an M.A. in East Asian Economy and Society from the University of Vienna, with a focus on politics and economy in in the East Asia region.

Her research focuses mainly on geopolitical and security issues in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly China's territorial claims. Before joining AIES, she was an intern at the European Institute of Asian Studies (EIAS) in Brussels.
