Dr. Rudolf Logothetti

Rudolf Logothetti studied Law and Political Sciences in Vienna and Salzburg, where he received the degree JUDr in 1973. Postgraduate studies in International Relations followed at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) , Johns Hopkins University Bologna / Washington DC.

After more than 10 years practising law, specialized in European Law, he joined the expert pool at the MFA within the framework of accession negotiations.

After working as head of office of a MEP (Habsburg) and after more than 10 years teaching at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich (International Law, European Law and European Politics) he joined the MOD in Vienna in 2004 where he worked until the end of 2014.

2005 – 2007 he served as a Coordinator of the National Security Council in the MOD.

From 1985 until 2000 member of the board of the Paneuropean Movement and since 2011 he is leading the "Akademie Schloss Triebenbach – Center for European and International Studies" which is situated near Salzburg in the Berchtesgadener Land.
