29th European Forum Vienna: Day 2
AIES Event in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Wilfried Martens Zentrum für Europäische Studien und dem Think-Tank Campus Tivoli (ehemalige Politische Akademie)

On November 6 and 7, 2025, the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES) will host the 29th European Forum Vienna in the Festsaal of the Vienna School of International Studies (Diplomatische Akademie Wien). In cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies and the think tank Campus Tivoli (former Political Academy), this year's forum themed “Europe's New Responsibility” will bring together global experts to discuss Europe's role at a time when security threats are increasing and the geopolitical landscape is constantly changing.
This year's forum will begin on November 6 at 6 p.m. with a discussion on “War in Ukraine - Status Quo and Future Perspectives” with Markus REISNER (Austrian historian and military expert).
The second day of the forum, November 7, will follow at 9 a.m. with welcoming remarks and speeches by high-profile guests, including:

After a short break, a panel discussion on “Europe's Security: Challenges and Responsibilities” with high-ranking experts will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.
As in previous years, the 29th European Forum Vienna will be held entirely in English. All programme points will be available as a livestream.
